Environmentally Sustainable Red and Yellow Illuminant Formulations
 
IPS members have been hard at work reformulating pyrotechnic illuminants to make them environmentally sustainable. Two recent articles report the development of chlorine-free red flare compositions and a new solvent-free process for producing yellow flares.
